Re-activating an account

  • When your account balance falls below the Operational Runway (is too low to pay the operator and network fee for your validators), your account will be liquidated and your validator deactivated. To reactivate your account, you will need to deposit a sufficient amount of SSV tokens. Make sure you have selected the operators you want to manage your validator before you continue to the deposit stage.

  • To begin, connect your wallet to Metamask. Now go to the My Account page and click the Reactivate Account button. (Note: Your account is associated with your Metamask wallet)

  • The next screen presents your Account Summary including all of your validators and the amount of SSV tokens required for each of them to be activated, along with the total amount of $SSV required for the entire account. (Note: You will have to deposit enough SSV tokens for the entire account, including all of your validators.)

    Clicking the Enable Account button will launch Metamask and deposit the exact amount needed to accommodate one year of operator and network fees.

  • Once you’ve completed this, your account is back up and running!
